THE FOUNDATION

The tinkerer and inventor Wilhelm Frank was strongly rooted in his home state of Baden-Württemberg and at the same time known for his cosmopolitanism. The foundation combines these two values in his name and sees itself as a platform for the global exchange of local experience and knowledge.

THE PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION

The purpose of the foundation is the promotion of science and research, intercultural exchange as well as education and training, including student aid.

THE PROJECTS

In the spirit of Wilhelm Frank, the foundation brings people together and facilitates understanding across national borders, cultures and historical backgrounds.

Valuable experiences, exciting insights, international friendships

Lukas Petersson is a Master's student in the International Relations & Global Politics program at Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen. As part of the Wilhelm Frank Programme, the student is currently doing an internship at the Permanent Mission of the European Union to the United Nations, where he is learning about the working methods, challenges and international diplomatic environment in international organizations.

Windows connect: View of a country, a world, a future.

It was the crowning glory of a successful project: last December, the Wilhelm Frank Foundation invited the three winners of its second "Connecting Windows" project to Germany. A varied program with interesting experiences and exciting encounters awaited the international team there.
